Let’s Have Some Fun,
Coach Chris
P.S. If you haven’t filled out the Post Season Tournament Interest Survey and are interested in participating please do so.
I wanted to reach out to gauge interest in entering a few teams in some post season tournaments. I think these tournaments are very fun, competitive, and a great team building experience.
Below is a link to a survey interest card for these post season tournaments that we can participate in. These tournaments will cost between $50-$150 per player depending on the number of players who want to play. If you are interested in your player participating in one or more post season tournaments please complete the survey ASAP. We will only play one of the days on these weekends.
Hopefully we can participate in as many tournaments as possible.
I hope everyone enjoyed the games this weekend and the players had fun. I had a blast and am very proud of each and every player for how hard they work every time they step on the field. We will continue to focus on the fundamentals of the sport at practice. I’m sure we will be running into stiffer competition in the coming weeks.
After the games this weekend, I wanted to take a moment to remind everyone about the expectations of PPL and positive sportsmanship. I appreciate all of your efforts to attend and contribute to the team and want us to be proud of the organization we represent. After several pointed concerns over comments at the games, please know that our overall goal is to provide these players with the best experience possible. Though we all have our frustrations with referees, coaches, and parents at times, how we conduct ourselves in front of our players is top priority. It is an expectation that we show respect and integrity at all games attended. This expectation trumps any win or loss. Again, I appreciate all of your continued support. I have enjoyed coaching your players and look forward to finishing this season as a united PPL team.
Best regards,
Coach Chris

2nd Grade Team (U8)
